After shooting several practice matches with my CZ 452 American, I decided there just had to be a better way. The gun would flop and roll like a fish out of water. Our game Vintage Benchrest allows bipods. The bipod is not figured in the weight of the gun.

Last season I shot a 10/22 with a bipod pretty well. In raw accuracy my CZ is probably better than my Clark Custom 10/22.

Finally got around to adding a second sling swivel stud farther back on my CZ stock. The location on the stock was chosen for optimum stiffness and a good fit between a Harris bipod base and the stock.

Earlier testing with the "stock" stock swivel location as an anchor point for bipod showed that the gun was just too flexible. Slight changes on the gun would really change the point of impact.

I predict that a many of our sporter class guns will be using a similar setup by the end of the next season.
